Non Violence Festival Peace Walk
The Non Violence Festival Peace Walk to Celebrate International day of Non Violence FRIDAY MAY 4, 2007
Waterloo Park at 7:00 p.m.
Around the world people in the Humanist Movement are organizing events to mark this special day. We are unified in
our passion for peace. This walk is a moving meditation centered in each of our own quests for inner peace as well
as our collective desire to actively participate in creating a world where we can live together equitably and
harmoniously. We walk for self-understanding, out of which comes conscientious action. We walk to cultivate
community.
Bring your family and friends to The Peace Walk. It will begin in Waterloo Park at 7:00p.m. Meet at the Picnic
Pavilion on the west side of the park. Entrance road is off Westmount Road. After the Peace Walk, there will be a
view of the Academy Award Winning movie, Gandhi, at the Original Princess Cinema, regular movie fees.
